Executive Dialogues – January edition

Exclusive for BISM Alumni Community

The Executive Dialogue series is part of the special events we put together for students and alumni of the BISM Programs (Executive MBA, Fast Track Management Program, Undergraduate Programs).

We invite professionals in different fields for an evening of open conversations, direct answers, intelligent and interesting questions, with the purpose of sparking new ideas and learnings.

The events take place every second Wednesday of the month, with the January event happening on 12 January and hosting Alexandra Bran (Ro5 alumna) and Bogdan Axinia.

Alexandra Bran is an MBA level finance professional leading the finance team for Edtech vertical (US$3.8 bln invested to date) as part of Prosus / Naspers. She is a board member with solid expertise in change management, team development, financial strategy, business partnering, operational processes development, and M&A.

Bogdan Axinia is a senior leader with 20 years of experience in fast-growing tech companies. In the past ten years, he has contributed to the growth of top CEE companies as part of their board. He currently manages eMAG Ventures, a CVC looking for attractive startups in the CEE region to help them have a fast and sustainable scale-up.

Alexandra and Bogdan will be talking about eMAG’s growth, how the model was replicated in other companies and how today’s context would change the approach.
