Lunch with a lecturer – series

These past 2 years have shown us that what some of us need more than anything else is human connection. From our side, we’ve missed the energy that a room with 100+ attendees eager to learn and share their know-how gives you.

And while we didn’t get a chance to host live masterclasses lately, luckily we can still meet online. This time, during our lunch break, so instead of eating over your laptop and going back to work with no energy, we propose we spend an hour together on Zoom and you can eat while being inspired.

The series will meet every Wednesday in April, at 12pm and last for an hour:

1. A discussion on exploring the future – 6 April with Diana Stafie

Can you anticipate changes? How do you evaluate alternatives to ensure they match your strategy?

Diana Stafie teaches Strategic Foresight: Trends Scanning and Scenario Planning at the Fast Track Management Program at BISM and will share from her experience of consulting business on future trends.

2. A discussion on business growth  – 13 April with Sergiu Neguț

How do leaders create the right mindset for growth, for them and their team? And how do you remain agile in periods of distress?

Sergiu Neguț teaches Global Corporate Strategy and Managing Growth at the Fast Track Management Program and Executive MBA from BISM and will share from his experience of growing companies, both as a manager and as an investor.

3. A discussion on business strategy – 20 April with Florin Ilie

How did the pandemic impact businesses and the local economy? How can you pivot the business strategy in this context?

Florin Ilie teaches Strategic business leadership at the Fast Track Management Program at BISM and will share from his experience on training managers for analyzing cost-benefits and building powerful businesses.

4. A discussion on leadership – 27 April with Emilia Bunea

How do we reconcile authentic leadership with the need to adapt, in the next management job or the next big change in our environment? Can you compromise on your values? Is there a “true North” of leadership?

Emilia Bunea teaches Leadership & Organizational Behaviour in the Executive MBA from BISM and will share from her experience of consulting leaders.
